Get Trained Now – be compliant !
In response to new DFE regulations, INRAD Group has developed a new one-day training course, Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA), to complement our existing two-day Paediatric First Aid (PFA) course.
Under the new DFE rules, all newly-qualified early years staff who have completed a level 2 or 3 qualification on or after 30 June 2016 must gain either a full (2-day) or emergency (1-day) Paediatric first aid certificate within 3 months of starting work*. The rules also specify critical ratios of children to qualified first aiders.
*Note: Newly qualified entrants who started work between 30 June 2016 and 2 April 2017 must have either a full PFA or an emergency EPFA certificate by 2 July 2017 in order to be included in the required staff:child ratios at level 2 or level 3.
