Rescue Emergency Care (REC) 2-day outdoor first aid course.
The course is run over two consecutive days and will validate all outdoor NGBs including MIA, MIC, ML, SPA, BC, BCA, TCL, MB. It is also suitable for DofE Leaders, Scout Leaders, Youth Workers, National Park Rangers or anyone working or simply enjoying the outdoors for leisure. Our focus on dealing with incidents away from immediate medical help and with the minimal first aid equipment. Teaching is through active scenarios based in outdoor environments in all weather.
A course specifically for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals: the course is designed to introduce a systematic way of dealing with any first aid incident and for managing casualties.
All training is delivered by REC Advanced trainers with relevant and current experience in mountain rescue, water rescue, general mountaineering, climbing and water sports.
The REC Outdoor Emergency first aid course is certified for three years.
