Inrad offer a range of kayaking courses from 1-day introductory courses to long Term Paddler Development Courses on White Water; British canoeing performance awards (canoe / kayak) and Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT). All courses have a small client to instructor ratio so that you will have the best possible learning experience and so that we can coach to your needs.
Beginner’s kayaking Course
Aimed at novice kayakers, this course is run as a 2-day or 5-day package and will introduce you to paddling on lakes and canals and slow moving (grade 1) rivers.
Beginner’s White Water kayaking Programme
If you want to progress to grade 2 White Water kayaking and develop good moving water skills that will allow you enjoy grade 2 river trips then this 6-day ( 2 days per month) programme is for you.
Developer’s White Water kayaking Programme
If you have some grade 2 experience and would like to hone your skills so that you ‘nail’ each rapid and can manoeuvre your boat with style and panache on grade 2 water then this is your course. Eight days of kayak coaching delivered over 4 months in solid grade 2 water with personalised coaching at each and every step.
Core White Water Skills Weekend
This weekend course looks at and develops your fundamental white water kayaking skills. If you are new to white water kayaking or would like to revisit the fundamentals, this course is for you.

If your visiting Llangollen and would like to see the River Dee from high above it on the Pontcycllte Aqueduct, then look no further. We offer both half-day and full-day canoe trips over this wonderful idillic Aquaduct. Ideal for a family trip or a quiet day.
Other trips include the excellent historic canals of Staffordshire, The Peak Forest and Cheshire.
